Details: Parents, grandparents and other caregivers meet in groups of 8-12 to discuss the challenges as well as joys of raising children.  Registration is required to attend this group. These weekly ongoing sessions help families deal with the day-to-day issues of parenting. Parents learn a variety of effective parenting methods from trained, parenting educators. They also get support from each other while they talk about the results of applying their new skills.  Each group runs for 7 weeks and may include 2 in-home consultations per family.
